Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach, CA offers Police Academy and Dispatch related classes. If you are interested in attending the P.O.S.T. Police Dispatch Academy , contact GoldenWest College at 714-895-8370. If you are just getting started in a dispatching career you want to attend the EXTENDED FORMAT offered 2 nights a week (6:00pm-10:00pm) for approx. one semester. Classes begin every January and August. Rio Hondo College in Whittier also offers these courses. Contact them at 562-463-7724 or ask via this website. If you are not in the Southern Calif area, contact the local college in your area to see if they offer simular courses.
