Both authors have years of experience in Law Enforcement.
Debbie is currently a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor for a Southern California City. She serves as a Criminal Justice Instructor for P.O.S.T. certified courses for Dispatchers, Communication Training Officers, Civilian Supervisors, and Peace Officer Academies. She is also recognized as an in-house instructor for her department and serves on a tactical dispatcher for the departments S.W.A.T. team when responding to high-risk incidents.
Steve is a retired Police Officer for a Southern California City. He served as a patrolman, Field Training Officer, Motor Officer, and Undercover Narcotics Investigator. He was also held assignments as a field supervisor and academy evaluator. He has contributed many hours in the 9-1-1 dispatch center.
